This blog is a virtual diary of my travels to Iran from June 30 to August 17, 2006. The nature of my travel is to research the ways a master craft-artist mentors an apprentice in the traditional arts of Iran.
I lost one suitcase and it showed up in two days. It was a hard two days. I had a lot of stuff in that suitcase, including the sculpture of Mastooreh, Bijhan's setar, and my two paintings by Mokarrameh. Everything was intact, except one wooden spoon- go figure. Life is on a fast pace; there is no break.
